Mac Application Secrets of the Nerds

Comments

[this is good]
Nice collection of app 'n things. I've found iusethis: http://osx.iusethis.com/ for a source of popular apps and such. Off the top of my list would be the Unsanity products: http://www.unsanity.com/products , and a few other good ones...for back up, Superduper: http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html, and a simple free one, iBackup http://www.grapefruit.ch/iBackup/....and an excellent vital info database, info.xhead: http://www.xheadsoftware.com/info_xhead.asp, and another one by the Flip4Mac people, Drive In: http://www.flip4mac.com/drivein.htm
Thanks, Antonio.

I left the Unsanity products out, primarily because of compatibility issues (and APE caused me some headaches in the past.)

Superduper is outstanding, agreed. No experience with iBackup. Though I will recommend CrashPlan as an outstanding rsync-backup -like tool. Relatively cheap too.

I just recently discovered iusethis.com and while I like it a lot (especially their superior rss feed format) I've been using versiontracker for a long time. I'll probably continue to use both.
